Ellis County Bar Association Makes Gifts to Area Organizations

Annual giving has become a regular habit for ECBA.

The Ellis County Bar Association has announced and given gifts to three area community organizations. The gifts, part of ECBA's continued efforts to positively impact the legal profession and community services, were awarded in January by ECBA's Donations Committee.

Committee members Alex Herman (Herman Law Office, PA), Todd Powell (Glassman, Bird & Powell, LLP) and Colton Eikenberry (Law Office of Colton Eikenberry) joined ECBA President Christopher Lyon from the Ellis and Trego County Attorneys' offices in awarding $2,000 in gifts to First Call for Help, Saint Francis Community Services and the Community Assistance Center. Funds raised from member dues and enrollment in ECBA's annual CLE program help fund what have become annual gifts to area organizations.
